Sorian’s Rifle service center on Colorado’s Western Slope is getting bigger. Located along the Colorado River with quick access to Interstate 70 and the Union Pacific Railroad, the yard is adding 4 acres next to its current 9-acre facility. The expansion will help the team support clients as their operations grow.

The added space will provide about 8,000 tons of new storage capacity. This means the Rifle yard will be able to handle more inventory and serve even more clients across the Western Rockies.

“This expansion is all about taking care of our clients,” said Jeff Damiani, the vice president of operations for Sorian. “We’re seeing them grow, and we want to grow right alongside them. Adding more space and storage helps us stay ready and keep their operations moving without delays.”

The Rifle yard already plays a key role in the region. It has two rail access points and can handle up to 4,000 railcars each year. The facility also features a wide range of equipment, including wheel loaders, flatbed trailers, and outbound semi-trucks.

Services at the yard include OCTG inspection, product maintenance, transportation, and hotshot services. Its location also makes it a strong link to the company’s pipe yards in Vernal, Utah, and Craig, Colorado.

With more land and more capacity, the Rifle service center is set to continue supporting the energy industry and helping its clients succeed.
